I assume this is true of most things you do, you end up looking at historical info to get an idea where to take the next step.<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes this leads you to the most boring series of endless searches that yield nothing, but sometimes you luck out and find what your looking for and can even be pleasantly surprised along the way:<\/p>\n<p><span><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thesamba.com\/vw\/archives\/lit\/51barndoors\/page1.jpg\" alt=\"4711\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thesamba.com\/vw\/archives\/lit\/51germanbus\/cover.jpg\" alt=\"55\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thesamba.com\/vw\/archives\/lit\/62bus_german\/page7.jpg\" alt=\"stare\" \/><\/span><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thesamba.com\/vw\/archives\/lit\/63deluxe\/6.jpg\" alt=\"right\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Interestingly enough I arrived at the reason why I was looking in these old brochures in the first place&#8230; the hose layout for my 1963 :)<\/p>\n<p><span><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thesamba.com\/vw\/archives\/lit\/63deluxe\/10.jpg\" alt=\"left\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thesamba.com\/vw\/archives\/lit\/63deluxe\/11.jpg\" alt=\"right\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s nice when you can get period correct info from a sources that are so inspiring.
